A thief stole more than $50.4 million worth of merchandise from a Walmart store during a six-day spree across the United States, authorities said Wednesday.
The stolen goods included televisions, computer monitors, toys, clothes and personal items, said Lt.
Joe Molloy, a spokesman for the Albuquerque Police Department.
The investigation is ongoing and the investigation is not believed to be related to the theft at the Walmart store on Thursday, Mollou said.
The incident was the second time in less than two weeks that a Walmart has been the target of a high-profile crime spree.
On Wednesday, a burglary at the store netted a haul of more than a dozen items, including computers, a digital camera and video games, according to the FBI.
Authorities said they believe that the recent incidents are connected, but that no arrests have been made in either case.
